Why buy a car from Germany?
Buying a car in Germany is often worthwhile: the selection is wider, prices are sharp and cars are usually better equipped. CLIM guides you through the purchase, brings the car to Belgium with insured transport on its own trailer and then helps you with the steps for import and technical inspection.

The advantages at a glance
Wider selection
Germany offers a far wider choice of makes, versions, engines and options. That makes it more likely you will find exactly the car that suits your wishes and budget.

Why is a car from Germany often cheaper?
Germany has a much larger supply of new and used cars. That large supply and strong competition between dealers often mean more choice in price than in Belgium. Many company, lease and premium cars also end up on the German used-car market. The price difference does depend on make, model, version, mileage and age, which is why CLIM always compares the full purchase price, including transport and import costs.
Do I get more car for my money?
Often, yes. Features such as leather seats, a panoramic roof or LED matrix headlights are frequently standard in Germany, while they are premium upgrades in Belgium.
Are used cars from Germany reliable?
German cars are usually well maintained and fully documented. On top of that, CLIM checks the documents and inspects the car on-site before it is transported.
Is buying a car in Germany also interesting for self-employed people and companies?
Yes. CLIM works for private individuals and companies, for example self-employed people looking for a specific van or commercial vehicle that is hard to find or too expensive in Belgium.
How much does an import cost?
We set the price per car. It depends mainly on where in Germany the car is. The price includes, among other things, the check beforehand, guidance with the purchase, insured transport and home delivery.
How long does an import take?
Your car is with you within five working days of collection in Germany. If we receive the seller’s documents in advance, it can take two to three working days. Before collection, allow two to three working days for the payment. Some garages also need up to a week to get the car ready, for example for a service.
